Jenny Kim

Jenny graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Charles Sturt University in Albury Campus, NSW 2011 which she undertook as an adjunct to her degree in Physical Therapy in South Korea, 2001. Since she graduated in 2001, she took her first step as a physiotherapist into a Neurological condition of Paediatric department and trained Bobath approach and PNF- CLT (coordinative locomotor training) in Germany 2005.

 

She is passionate treating young children and an expert to stimulate the neuroplasticity to facilitate new neural connection and motor development. Jenny has experience in treating Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and Acquired Brain Injury.

 

In 2008, she decided to further study physiotherapy evidence-based approach and graduated CSU in 2011. Since the graduation, Jenny started seeing Musculoskeletal patient’s conditions such as lower back pain, shoulder pain and post operative management. Throughout her career in AU, Jenny completed several postgraduate courses including McKenzie Lumbar spine Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment, DMA clinical Pilates Level 1& 2, Dry needling, Kinesio Taping, Lower limb extremity management and Advanced sports taping course.

 

In her personal story, Jenny had to relocate from Melbourne to Warragul 2018 for her husband’s work commitment (currently working at Warragul Gippsland Hospital as a general medicine physician). She has been enjoying much of nature in Gippsland with her family and settling into kind community successfully. Even though it was challenged to adapt to the Warragul weather she appreciates the beautiful parks and warm hearted neighbourhood.
